I started at Commerzbank, advising mid-sized companies on interest rate and currency management. After a few years it was clear that I wanted to work closer to the operation than to the analysis. From 2016 I ran MVQ Silicones in Germany, and from 2020 Silex Limited in the UK alongside it: 70 employees in total, revenue in the tens of millions, sites in three countries.

Brexit and the pandemic fell into those years. For Brexit I set up a parallel structure and kept the supply chains running. During the pandemic the margin went up because costs and prices were adjusted week by week. Alongside that I introduced CRM and ERP systems and then worked with them myself every day.

Since 2025 I have done this for other companies: introducing systems, changing how work gets done, bridging leadership gaps. AI is part of it because I use the tools in my own business every day and know which of them hold up in a mid-sized firm.
